The High School 48 gives you the power to show off your filmmaking skills. We give you a genre, a character, a prop, and a line of dialogue and the rest is up to you.
What's involved? It's 4 Easy Steps
Get your friends together to be the cast and crew
Gather your equipment--camera, sound, lights, editing software (Did you know, a lot of great shorts are shot on cell phones?!?)
List your possible costumes and locations
Register for the HS48
The High School 48 provides:
A nationwide competition open to all high school students
A filmmaking assignment that includes the genre for your film and three elements that must be included in your film--a character, a prop, and a line of dialogue
A link to upload your completed film at the end of the competition
A streaming site where all entries will stream
