A Storyboard is a visual representation of your film.  Consisting of a series of images (e.g., drawings, photographs, other), a Storyboard conveys information on how a director wants to shoot their film.  In addition, Storyboards may include camera direction, dialogue and other information that is important to the shoot.  Check out this example.
